HTML <sup>Tag: The HTML<sup> tag defines the superscript text. For adding a superscript text in an HTML file, a tag can be used. The sup tag defines superscript text. Superscript text appears half a character above the normal line and is sometimes rendered in a smaller font. Superscript text can be used for footnotes. And this tag is mostly used in the Formulae.
