HTML Colors: In HTML colors play a major role in making the website look and feel. If you want to add color to the page level using the <body> tag. And you can also set colors for individual colors by using the bg color attribute in your code.
HTML Colors
In the <body> tag we are having different attributes that are used for setting different colors.
- bg color: sets color for the background of the page
- text: sets the color for the body of the text
- alink: sets the color for selected links (or) active links
- link: sets the color for linked text.
- vlink: sets color for visited links.
HTML Color Coding Methods
There are some different types of methods used for defining the color codes. And remember that in HTML color codes are the hexadecimal triplets representing the colors red, blue & green i.e.(#RRGGBB). They are as follows:
- Color names: We can define the color names normally as red, blue, green, etc.;
- Hexa Code: As we have already learned from above that these are Hexa decimals code i.e. six-digit code representation.
- Percentage values (or) color decimals: It is specified using rgb( ) property.
